IMPLANT PLANER become GOLD STANDART treatment method

"There are thousands of methods how to decontaminate the implant, which is a key element in treating Peri- implantitis," says Professor Frank Schwartz during a lecture on June 17, 2021. it becomes clear that there is no GOLD STANDARD method for decontaminating the implant. If there were a single effective method, it would be the one used and become the GOLD STANDARD. 

In his article "Peri-implant diseases," Klinge B at al. wrote, “One method that can dramatically alter microbial contamination of the implant surface is its mechanical modification (grinding) by means of rotating instruments – a method termed implantoplasty.”
